I obtained my degree in Biology from Santiago de Compostela University (Spain) in 2008. Then I completed a master degree in Neurosciences from an Inter-university program in Spain (USC, UVigo, UDC) 2009. In 2015, I obtained my PhD in Neurosciences from USC. During my thesis, I studied the development and evolution of the vertebrate hypothalamus using the catshark Scyliorhinus canicula as a model organism. I started a Post-Doc at the LANE in June 2016 where I investigate skin development in reptiles in general and skin cracking in crocodilians in particular.
