I obtained my MS degree in Physics from Saint-Petersburg State University, Russia in 2010.  During my master’s thesis I performed plasma spectroscopy and plasma temperature calculations in ‘Globus-M’, the first Russian spherical tokamak built at the Ioffe Physico-Technical Institute of the Russian Academy of Science. In 2014, I received my PhD in Physical Chemistry from the EPFL (Switzerland). I continued working for one year as a post-doc at the EPFL to preform spectroscopy of biological molecules in the gas phase and quantum chemical calculations of peptide structures. Currently I am a post-doc at the LANE where I am working on reptilian skin structural colors and hydrophobicity.
