A 3D-Artist is joining the LANE

September 1st, 2023

The LANE is active in producing awesome scientific visuals from high-resolution 3D confocal microscopy (for example, here), light-sheet microscopy (for example, here),  and 3D scans (for example, here).

Today, Fabrice Berge, a talented 3D artist, is joining the LANE to enrich, among others, our Visual Media web page, produce Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality experiences, as well as artistic interfaces within physics-of-biology computer applications.

After obtaining his diploma of Graphic Designer in 2008, Fabrice gained experience in Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, 3D software, branding, UI, UX, app, and print. He has previously worked at the Center for Visual Immersion (CVI) of the Biology Division at the University of Geneva (UNIGE) as Chief Developer for the immersive visualisation of biological material imaged in 3D with state-of-the-art microscopes. He has also produced 3D Art, and visual effects for Ozwe Games and Meta.
