The company Olympus, a well-know provider of microscopes, organised the second Global Image of the Year Light Microscopy Award to celebrate the very best in life science imaging worldwide.
We are happy to announce that one image recorded by Grigorii Timin, PhD student in our lab, has been selected as the best image for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (the two other regions are Asia-Pacific and the Americas).
Grigorii’s image shows Collagen fibres (in second harmonic generation) as well as dermal pigment cells (in autofluorescence) in African house snake embryonic skin scales.
Congratulations to Grigorii!
Enjoy the stunning image.
