I have completed my Bachelor (2015) and Master (2017) Degrees in Biophysics at the Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University in Russia. My master's research project, carried out at the Institute of Cytology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, was about tumor-targeting properties of mesenchymal stem cells in a rat glioblastoma model.
In 2017 I joined the LANE as a PhD student, supported by Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship. Under the supervision of Prof. Michel Milinkovitch I worked on morphogenesis of skin scales in snakes and developed a novel method of collagen network architecture visualisation.
In 2023 I started a postdoc at the LANE under the supervision of Dr. Athanasia Tzika and will focus on development and evolution of skin spines in mammals.
